painting intercooler
i just got my intercooler and i was wondering if theres a special way to paint it. i dont want to mess it up so i figured i ask. and if anyone has pics i would like to see what they look like

well, i have heard that you can buy special radiator paint and use that. or if your just trying to make it less noticeable you can cover it with pantie hose

You can paint the solid surface, but not the actual air paths... The paint will keep the air from flowing thru. So, it would look like black, silver, black, silver, etc.

Hey whats wrong with pantyhose!!! There is nothing wrong if your turbo wants to feel a lil sexy. sheesh...
Back on topic now. When you paint the intercooler aim at an angle so you dont get too much paint going through the fins but on the front edge. so looking straight at your intercooler it will be black. DONT overcoat it.
