Default TiAL wastegate problem....

Ever since i bought my wastegate (used) its had a problem.. but no i think its effecting the boost.....

i can lift the top peice about a cm up and down ...... and when u can pull it up and hold it when the car is running, and it u can hear it leaking and exhaust coming out of the dump..... it should b doing this should it? it should b nice and tight...

is there a gasket or bushin i have to replace?

hum it is not suposed to do that, well its already broke so i would take it apart and see whats going on inside, maybe something is loose or missing.

yah its weird.... i didnt really notice it today until my boost gauge was reading max 4.....

i have a 7 psi bar in there.. and i dont even hit 7... max 6

its always been loose.. but now its effecting my boost pressure...

When I picked up my tial, it did the same thing. If i'm correct here, his top machined (hat) is loose from the bottom (cast section). Take the 10-12 allen bolts off the top machined section of your tial. After that comes off, you'll find your WG spring. After the spring is out, there is another small part to pull off of your rod section (part spring sits on). Below that is a 19mm that you can tighten up to get rid of that excess play in your WG. HTH or at least makes sense.

you can rotate it and ****..lol. yeah ive seen it
i would get a new one....

all tightened ..... thanx man...

bov is 500% louder now and seems to pull way harder...

i was hitting 10psi thou....

so i duno whts up with that
