ok im getting so stuck on this part of building my b18a1 turbo motor
ive been trying to find info on the compression on the motors, i dont know what to change my compression to. I dont know if i should run a 9.1:1 compression like stock or go down to a 8.4:1 that ive read in a motor build for a b18b1.
but here my setup so far, b18a1 block and head, block is beening resleved to 81mm (eagle seleves), and the turbo that im going to use is going to be 50 trim t3t4 might go to a 57trim, but problay ganna stick with the 50. im looking to make about 450 to 475hp.
my bigest problem is i cant fing any info anywere that makes since to me, for me to deciced on a compression to run, cuz im going to be running a really high boost levels, problay some where around 18psi to 25psi. the 25psi is only ganna be running it when im runing the car at the track for my class im in. and the 18psi will be for just whatever else.
if anyone got some ides let me know....

well a 50 trim will not make 450whp
if you want 450-475whp i would get a 60 trim atleast, if not an sc61 or something similar in size (61mm)
compression 9:1 works or you can even go 10:1 if you trust your tuner
