Default Oil return? Wrong or Right? *Pics*

Any critiques on my oil return setup? Not sure if you can tell but there is a good slope but also an angle, that some have said is bad. Sorry for the bad pics, its raining right now.

Some people will flat out try and tell you your cars gonna smoke since the seals will blow right away, but that return setup is not that bad. YES, it could slant a little closer to the oilpan without that big of a flat spot in it, but you will still have gravity helping you out in your case. If it didn't have any slope, that flat spot would just kill your setup, but you will have some good flow until it wraps under that downpipe, at least enough to keep it flowing straight to the oilpan.

How much straight tubing after the slope goes to the oilpan? But I will still say you are OK with that.

Looks good, but I would def wrap it or use aeroquip's firesleeve and shorten it a lil and maybe put a 45 fitting right where it goes into the oil pan. Other than that looks good

all it really need to do is start above the oil pan and it WILL drain into, as long as there aren't any kinks in the hose. I think that setup will work if you wrap it like everyone else says, just a little to close to a very hot piece for comfort.

I agree completely. I had a similiar problem with mine. Yours is fine, as gravity is on your side.

As long as the turbo's oil return is higher than where you tapped the oil pan, then you are good to go.
