oil return on a top mount...where to run it

Default oil return on a top mount...where to run it

i have a AFI top mount and im running into the problem of how to run my return line. Is it ok to run the line through the manifold or do i have to run it another way? im not sure about what way to do this.....plz hlp me out

i would do a metal tube and route it away from the mani as far as possible with keeping it straight shot to the pan.

No different than a bottom mount/ramhorn. Run it straight down to the front of the oil pan.

I had to run a 45deg -10 AN off the turbo going forward and to the side a bit to route it away from the manifold, then it curves down to a straight fitting into the top of the pan. It's not ideal, but I've had no problems.

This. Running straight down will cause it to sit against the manifold. Thats just going to melt the rubber hose inside. I'm also going to run a heat sleeve overtop of my hose.

I'm sorry, I thought it was obvious that you don't have the hose touching the manifold if at all possible.

i know that.....i was wondering how ppl have them ran away from the manifold. Hence why i asked for some ideas
