ss will work but that is a socketless hose end. and it is -6.

-6 = 3/8 hose. your return needs to be -10 5/8 hose
socketless is a hose that requires no clamps. if you clamp hose to that barbed socketless hose end it can actually cause it to fail.

what manifold do you have? i dont see why you cant get the fast turbo oil line setup working? i have it and on ym car i have about a 1 inch of line showing from fitting to fitting. close but it works great.

hmm good to know thanks for informing me i almost got it too. currently im using half of my 45 degree fitting from the fast turbo kit thats connected to the oil pan bung, barbed fitting thats connected to the turbo, with a silicone hose clamped down with worm clamps. i forget but im not sure if its 5/8s or 3/8s its most likely 5/8s though because it looks like the ss line. its been working fine for the last month but it just started to leak... so yeah trying to use the ss line a different fitting to the oil pan bung.


lol i wish i had even an inch to work with. im running a mini ramhorn and the turbo hangs reallllly low. like i said fittings hit and would overlap eachother if we were looking at it in 2d diagram lol i had like -1 inch to work with. if you guys could suggest a barbed fitting that would be compatible with the oil pan bung and is the right size that would be greatttt. k thanks for the help guys^

just get two -10 socketless AN fittings and some pushloc hose

omg... i only paid 50 bux for my whole oil line kit new (feedline and return line) thanks though but do you know anywhere else i can get something like that but for cheaper? seriously.. but you dont have to haha youve helped me enough already thanks

you got any pics of the tapped pan? how high up do you have it? mine sits at least and 1-1.5 inches from the top..

It's been a while since I've seen them, but don't the fast-turbo oil return kits come with a female flange that bolts to the turbo, THEN a 45 degree 3/8" NPT to -10 an adapter? Get rid of that and buy an aluminum flange with the -10 an fitting as one machined part. Now buy a 2nd 45 degree hose end, or 2 45 degree socketless, but put some fire sleeve over it.

yea i believe you are right about the turbo fittings.. its been awhile since i looked at mine hahaha.

That's not much space at all! As boostedcivicsir said, 3/8" is too small. You don't NEED the flange, it was just a suggestion to make things easier and give you more room for hose.

ok thank you^ so i think im pretty much going to settle with getting that flange kit you showed me, one 45 degree and one straight -10 AN socketless barbed fitting. and i'll prob just get those fittings from summit for like 30 bucks unless i can find them somewhere else cheaper.

the hose that mike93eh2 suggested shown here: http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku lol thats like in 10 ft and i only need like 2 to 3 inches of it at most. plus its 40 bucks, does anybody know where i can get hose like that but like a smaller amount? or something i could use instead of that hose that would seal over the socketless fittings and can stand the heat of turbo.

like schucks or napa? i found the regular barbed fittings from one out of 6 napas but they didnt even have any AN fittings

sweet i found a couple other sources too that sell by the foot. its like 9 bux total shipping from on place, not bad! umm you think a rating of 212 degrees F for the hose is good? wondering if i should look for something rated higher..

The Aeroquip hose has a temperature rating of 300 degrees. As I mentioned above, you should cover it with firesleeve.
