oil questionnn!
i have a d15b in a 98 sedan. i just recently boosted it and have a question about oil. now, #1 which is the preffered oil type for hondas on boost?
and also if i misread the dipstick and added too much oil, if driven would this cause the car to drip oil from the return line and oil drain plug?
i recently realized i would drip oil from my oil drain plug and oil return line (the entrance to the pan) and theyre both tight, so i checked my oil level and i was over the second whole. so might that cause the drips?
i was thinking if i do an oil change with the correct amount of oil and put some honda bond around both the return line and drain that i would be fine?
which brings be back to my other question which oil should i use?
engine has vtec (dont know if that makes a difference)

Re: oil questionnn!
^^ Yep if the engine is seal up correctly you should not leak oil, but seals and gaskets get old and leak. Replace the drain plug seal with a new one when you do your oil change, that will fix that leak. If you have a Ebay oil return then get rid of it and get something better and that will fix that leak. Pics of the oil drain line would help also.
As far as oil goes synthetic oil is the best way to go because of it ability to lubricate and prevent wear as well as its ability to handle higher heat than conventional oil. I like either Quaker State full synthetic Advanced Engine or good old Mobile1. I always run 5w30 oil.
