Default Drain oil?

I was just going to re-install my oil feed line and put teflon tape around all the threads this time(dumb me). Is it necessary to drain the oil out of the car, or is it okay to just untie the oil sender t-fitting in the back of the block at the oil switch, and put teflon around it and reinstall it?

Default Re: Drain oil? (IVANITR)

when the engine is off all the oil is at the bottom of the engine in the oil pan. Remember the hondas only hold like 3-4 quarts!

...so ya..its fine - you dont have to drain the oil
