Default Oil Pan Feed

Is the line that connects to the oil pan a screw type ie teflone tape around it, or is it a type that needs a gasket of some sort? Im asking because we are replacing the oilpan gasket and wondering if we need a gasket for the oil line. Thanks.

if they are AN fittings, then no, you do not need a gasket. I don't know what kind of fittings you have on your return line though....
