ok yesturday out of no where i started leaking a rediculous amount of oil, and bout an hour ago i jacked up my car to see where it was coming from and its coming from the fitting on the oil return on the oil pan

is that just a bad fitting or what? it screwd on to the bung on the oil pan as tightly as possible. ok thanks

 

You have that fitting matched to the proper fitting on the oil pan yes?

Did you use teflon tape? The reason I ask is because AN fittings don't require thread sealing paste/tape and will leak if you use them.

Take it off, clean it, and put it back on making sure it's tight. Because it's a spinning fitting, it seals the back of it (where you circled) only when it's tightened onto the fitting.
