Default oil feed line to long?

well after months and months of the car being down it is now once again close to completion on the new set up. the motor is a fully built around 10:6 compression stock sleeve b16 81.5mm with a garret 60-1 w/ 70ar. my problem is i bought a new oil feed line due to the old one being to short. now im worried this one is to long. could the oil line being to long cause the turbo to be dry for to long at cold start up?

wouldnt think so... it would take a fraction of a second for that line to get 50-60 psi of oil pressure... and after that first start up, there will always be oil in the line, and in the turbo...

I wouldnt be to concerned... now if it was like 10 feet long, well, maybe.

thats good to hear thanks for the info also i have another question seeing from your sig that you have been there done that lol. the motor has acl bearings, eagle rods with arp's,wiseco pistons and rings 81.5mm, stock sleeves, block guard, arp head studs with a cometic .051" gasket,b16 ported head with supertech valve train and cams. stock IM and TB, 750cc inj, walboro 255hp,garret 60-1 w/70ar,tial 38mm, mini ram manifold,2 1/2" piping and down pipe,400 hp front mount. i was wondering wut kind of numbers to look for. the tune will be by wess hess of hesspower.com due to the high compression the car will be a weekend warrior on c16. could the set up do 400whp?

thats cool. another thing is that i have heard mixed stories for where to route my vacuum lines. i know the bov goes to vacuum source from the break booster. and that vacuum come from another t to the the mbc and from there to the waste gate? i have a fitting on the compressor side of my turbo though. i dunno which to use or do

well, i can tell you that the side hole on the wastegate should see a good vacuum source.. preferably off that fitting on the turbo...

if you have a line from the turbo to the wg you dont need to run it to the booster. The mbc will go in the line from the turbo to wg.

too long of a line only adds restriction, in turn, is a good thing on the high PSI systems in hondas.

the line won't stay full of oil if there is no restrictor, it will only hold oil to the highest point of the line, the rest will drain out. If running a restrictor at the turbo, you will see oil there for longer though it will still drain out over a few hours.

I have noticed only around a .5 second delay before seeing pressure on the gauges.
