I have never seen the M62 on the M45 manifold but I have seen custom homemade manifolds. If I could get someone to build me one Id be on top of it!!

alright guys, my jrsc will be here tommorow thats going in my ej1 DD. I already have a turbo d16z6 crx that Iam currently gathering parts for. anyways, I have a couple questions...

1. is a new fuel pump needed for only ~150-180whp?

2. what size injectors would you recommend for 150-180whp?

3. I have an obd1 gsr tb laying around, will getting it portmatched to the spipe do anything?

4. should I run a catchcan setup simular to what I have/most people have on their turbo civics?

5. now that I hear jacksonracing/supercharger..com do not sell upgraded pullies how would I get ~8psi out of my d16z6?

6. has anyone decided on a decent cam yet?

7. would you recommend that I get my spare rebuilt extra head milled so I will have ~10:1 compression?

8.will h20/meth injection be good at lowering both actual IATs and the IAT that the ecu sees? reason I ask is because if it does that would make it almost full-proof since the p28 will retard proper timing if something were to ever happen to the h20/meth injection.
also, what are the typical IATs at ~8psi.

thanks. I will soon have 2 FI d-series.

Anyone know where there's one of these for sale or preferably trade for an LS/Vtec setup?

Im running 6 psi JRSC and I really like it except the fact that I cant keep my belt from walking off one tooth on the crank. I wish I had the fix!! Thats the only down side I can say so far. Acelleration is nice though!!

1. Nah but wont hurt.
2. I run 450s
3. It will help
4. I dont havent had any problems
5. Endyn....y8 crank pulley
6. I use stock A6
7. 10:1 seems like a good ratio with the SC.
8. W/M inj is great at lowering temps make sure you spray the right amount as too much will give you "quench" and you will lose power.

Are the JRSC's for single cams different between Y8's and all the others?

No I have the Y8 kit, but maybe I'm missing a washer or something. The belt barely comes off one tooth on the crank, but has no where to go so I think it won't fall off. I do think it will wear out prematurely and break though. I wonder if the manifold needs tightening to the block.

I bought the JRSC with the motor, but had to add an Alternator and belt, so I may have something misaligned. <stumped>

If anyone here has detailed picks of the D16y8 pulley system, they would be PIMP for posting it here. I've read other posts where people have belt issues too.

YES Y8 JRSC on a Y8

I just have something misaligned for the belt. It's not clear to me yet. Im thinking of putting a washer behind the lower idler pulley, or trying to torque down the charger to the block.

Maybe my idler pulleys are going bad, but doesn't look like it.

Anyone in San Diego area want to help a fellow JRSC'd D16 rider?

No,

The pulleys seem pretty straight, and the belt stays on till driven hard. I haven't broken one belt yet.

One thing I found today is that the bolt for the upper part of the idler pulley bracket has a stripped and broken bolt. About 1/4 inch of the bolt tip is still in the block. So maybe my belt problem happened at high rpms with the idler bracket flexing a little bit.

i'll keep everyone informed as someone else could have the same issues.

I'm no expert, but when i was installing mine, i had to space out the idler bracket with a washer. My set up has been running strong ever since.

y7 with 8* and map controller

Hey Thanks. I might do that. I was thinking I might have to use a washer somewhere in the pulley system. First I'll replace the stripped, and broken bolt on the idler pulley bracket to see if that fixes it. It only seems to come off at high speeds. Its almost right!
