no turbo timer

Default no turbo timer

Quick question.. so i just boosted my b16 3/04 57trim .48 ar.. and i currently have no turbo timer.. after a drive should i let it idle for a while befroe cutting the motor?.. also on a start should i let it sit to get the oil flowing before driving?

If you just drive like say the last mile home or wherever you are going without boosting you should be fine without a timer.. as for the oil, if the lines are primed then you shouldnt worry about waiting to drive.

People will recommend it, but really it's not necessary. The recommendations of letting you car idle for 2 mins after you finish driving was based on the old oil technology, and the older oils would actually cook inside the turbo, and thus would not do it's job with cooling. So with any newer oil these days, it's not necessary. I'll explain more if needed...

even though iu dont boost for a few miles i just sit in the car after i park it and just chill for a min and lisenen to music
