How long should it idle down for?

Default How long should it idle down for?

I heard that if your turbo is oil and water cooled, you can drive it then shut it right off, opposed to letting it idle with just an oil cooled turbo, is this true?

if youve been boosting than park it, let it run for a min. or so, if you havent been boosting, just shut it off, thats what I do, I run good full synthetic oil also, that helps.

if im just driving normal, ill let it idle maybe 10-15 seconds. if im standing on it, then ill go a min or 2
