It's not a bad idea to give it a little squirt of engine oil into the oil inlet. But your turbo will get plenty of oil on start up.The turbo will not have any load on it until boost. At idle it will hardly be turning if at all.

so it will be fine to just hook everything up and start it up and let idle to get oil circulating?

When the car starts don't start reving it right away but at the same time don't let the car keep stalling out. Alot of people kill their turbos from stalling out during the tuning process.
good luck with your set up.

i always get someone to hold the oil line with it off and turn the engine over before i hook it up to the turbo..
mainly to flush any **** outta the lines u just put in, and make sure u actually have oil.
u dont want a piece of teflon or hondabond going into your turbo..

lol , ok, have fun. when i do my install, I'll put some oil in the inlet port. Just to make my conscience feel better (since it's brand new anyway).

Not a bad idea but make sure you hold the compressor wheel so the wheel and shaft don't rotate. Don't worry it will not take your fingers off as long as you don't grab it while the car is running.
