No traction with my boost...
I'm boosting around 10-12 right now I cant seem to adjust my mbc right now. Anyhow if I just start moving in first then just go to WOT when the boost kicks in I just totally lose traction. Im running on some heavy 17'' katana c5's w/ nitto 555's. Any techniques?
17'er aren't going to help..you need width...try 225's...and a softer compound...that'll give more grip.
or, if don't have the cash now...just let out some air in the front tires so that you have more surface area on the pavement

Well Im just saying the 17's weigh a grip and there is still plenty of torque to turn these 17's enough to lose traction while im still moving.
here's an idea...don't go WOT in first gear. unless you have slicks, just about any FWD turbo car will spin the wheels at WOT in first. Get some drag radials, those will help.
10-12 psi is kind of pushing it, even with the correct amount of fuel. I would simmer down if I were you. anyhow, yeah basically that's how it is, no traction in 1st and 2nd unless you're on drag radials. Even the drag radials still spin but at least it moves a little more. I dont know about putting a 225 on the front of your car, I think you'd have a lot of rubbing here and there. There really is no need to be flooring it in 1st gear anyway.

I learnt the hard way from no traction. Girlie in my car.. wanted to see how fast my car moves, so I floored it on 1st and slapped it into 2nd. Dropped the clutch. Clank! Broke my driveshaft.
Never slap it into 2nd with 18psi of boost, a stock driveshaft, and a very grippy OS Giken twinplate clutch
