When does the car make boost normally? 6k might not be enough if the car is real laggy to begin with... Does Hondata have ignition cut with their launch control?

im sure the car would make boost at 6k rpms hes not trying to spool a jet engine. you would have some boost regardless of lag at 6k with any turbo.

have you tried switching back to a manual boost controller and see how it responds ?

How much boost does it build under power? I had the same problem with a large turbo on only 6lbs, didnt want to build more than 2 lbs on the line. If its a large turbo, you have to be on the launch control for a decent amount of time to allow it to gain boost. Plus that feature takes a lot of fine tuning. Does it build only a little boost off the line or none at all?

I never really used my boost by gear feature in hondata, so if your set for only 4psi in
1st gear, maybe it will only allow you to boost 4psi off the line?? Which could be part of the problem. That low of a PSI limit is hard to reach off the line with launch control. Keep messing with it. When i was runnin 6psi on a T3 turbo, the best i got it off the line was 4psi.

i havent used hondata, but ectune.
try setting your fuel to about between +(50-75) and retard the ignition -(35-40*), 15* like you're trying is not enough.
that will build plenty of boost for you.

the settings your using (+20gas, -15 timing) wont spool that turbo quick...

try +200 gas -30 timing... then 300+ gas and -40 timing
