Internally Wastegated, how do i turn down boost?
I have a Td05h turbo and I Was wondering how I turn the boost down to around like 7lbs? I'm new to this whole turbo game, and I'm just trying to play it safe for a little bit so I came here for help! I have heard that this turbo is internally wastegated and I was wondering how to turn the boost up/down?

just because it's internally gated doesn't mean you can't adjust boost ... to do so you need a boost controller of some sort, but remember you won't be able to go any lower than what the wastegate is set at already. So if you're running let's say 9psi right now with no controller, u won't be able to go lower than that anyway just by adding a controller

i'm guessing you don't have a boost controller? you'll need one of those. either a manual or electronic, doesn't matter. the other way you can play around with boost pressure is the actuator arm. but if this is the greddy kit, it should only be boosting like 5-7 psi. is there a vac line off the actuator on the turbo connected to a boost solenoid?

Thanks for the help so far. No, I don't have a boost controller. The turbo came off a DSM eclipse i believe its a td05h 14b turbo. I just inquired this setup for trading my complete b16 swap for it which i got ripped off on. It isn't the car yet or hooked up quite as of yet so I'm not sure of how anything is set. But the actuator arm, Is how you can turn down the boost?

No. Read closer to what the other guys said. You cannot go any lower than it is already set at. If you want to go lower you will need to get a new actuator arm that's set lower or get an external wastegate with a softer spring.
