i have no boost, first of all the turbo is a brand new percsion sc32 turbo, the turbo spools up making a swizzing sound with no boost the boost gauge does'nt go past 0 however the vacum works.. what should i check for. I am using rubber and silicon couplers and the pipes are 4 section, the intercooler doesnt leak i did a pressure test i am also using a cast iron manifold by rev hard and a wasgate by tial, and log type b.o.v by apex'i and a downpipe.. what should i check for ??? i have check my waste gate and even borrowed my friends waste gate which has been working on thier car.

make sure ur bov is shut when the cars idling.
you could try unhooking the hose to the gate and seeing if that changes anything.

the onlyt hing that cauzes no boost is.. leaks, bov being open, or wastegate opening too soon.

 

And not having a downpipe, I didnt have one on my car and I would only build boost @ like 5k in 4th gear and it was only like 3psi, so if you dont have a downpipe of some sort... try that...

bov is open at idle or while in vac for that matter. i didnt have a dp on my car and it built boost fine. sounds like a boost leak somewhere. check all your couplers to see if they have leaks. if you welded up some of your charge piping make sure they dont have any pinholes. also what kind filter are you running? if you have a sock or something on there haha take it off and go for a drive. good luck
