Default HELP!!! boost to no boost after parking it!

help please!
i had my turbo for about 6months new. just the other day. went to work everything is fine. after work all of a sudden i drive home and i get no boost. 0psi.

i assume the charge pipe blew off. 7psi. went home checked it. nothing everything is still tight. even if i had a leak i should get something but 0psi. i checked vacuum lines, all perfect. idles fine and drives fine. no oil leaks. vacuum lines are all pretty new. less than 2 months i replaced it all.

checked turbo shaft. spins freely with no play still. i baby my car. rarely hit boost. until just now, where it went to nothing all of a sudden.

anything else i should check?

Check the connectors again. I have had pipes blow apart before where you couldn't even tell they were disconnected except by close inspection.

open your hood and rev your car from the intake manifold (with your finger) the BOV should pop open even with the slightest bit of air. Check everything then. I would say a boost leak somewhere that you can't see. Like a cracked silcone coupler . GL anyway

ok, i just took off all the piping and silicon and inspected it. no cracks, tears rips, nothing. piping looked all around. nothing. reinstalled it back on. still no boost. 0psi.
had the car running and reving and feeling for leaks around silicon. still nothing.

what can it be from boost to nothing after parked and regular driving? not even 1psi.
shows perfect vacuum all the time. around 20in(idle), slight rev brings it to 0psi. but no boost

external. 38mm tial. i even took it apart and everything looks fine. the rubber seal the spring. its looks like new still.

running off the 1/2 bar wastegate spring.

can't be vacuum lines. i'm running goldeneagle vacuum mani tee off the brake booster.

are you using tbolts? id go through and tighten them all a little extra just to make sure....im kinda confused though, if its not a boost leak and you are showing correct vac at idle, there is no reason that you shouldnt be boosting...
UNLESS
possibly plenum gasket, im gasket, throttlebody gasket, something along those lines. somewhere you are leaking though.

edit could even be egr valve, map sensor(if you took it off to run missing link or something)....dunno

thanks, will try the carb spray and no oil lines are kink, truely visable lines direct from the block to the turbo. i can hear the turbo spool but no psi.

don't think its the tb/im gaskets. i never touched them and i doubled check it as well and seems fine.

intercooler was bought brand new. custom made from a local shop. was tested to 35psi. before purchased with warranty still. shouldn't be a problem with only 7.5psi.

no missing link. running hondata s200b with rc 440 injectors/ walbro.

thanks all you guys are great help. truely one advice will lead to the fix

what about preturbo exhaust leaks? possibility? recently changed anything on the mani, tps, iacv, fitv?

possibly the injector seats? i had one bad one and i couldnt figure it out, but i was leaking boost but only boost, and not leaking vac. replaced the seat and it was fine....maybe?

are you running an open dump tube or closed? i ask this because last time i couldn't get boost, my wastegate was open and didn't close. of course i knew something was up when my car sounded like open header.

check endtank seams...
you seriously need a boost leak tester.

never touched the manifold or changed anything since my turbo install.

i tried building a boost leak detector but my bike pump can't build enough to see a change. Its a serious leak? cause i don't even get 1psi while driving so i need like an air compressor to blow air fast and then see.

open dumptube and doesn't seem any air is going out of it when i rev it.

i don't understand how all of a sudden i get zero boost. most people have leaks of few psi but i get nothing. could my turbo gave way or the wastegate?

Last time this happened to me it was because the welds on my internal wastegate flapper came undone where i had welded it shut so i could use my external gate. I was stumped because just like you I had no leaking chargepipes whatsoever, but it wouldn't boost anything at all.

hey shortyz

yeah man this just started happening few days ago. kinda pissed. it does feel slower.
, having no boost is painful. would never go back to n/a but don't really have a choice till i find the problem. really shitty cause i have a few things i wanna install but gotta fix the problem first.
