i'm going to be running 40-60 shot of nitrous into my b18c1. do i need to upgrade any parts of my fuel system? also, do i need to retard the ignition timing or can i leave it right at zero?

Re: nitrous question (msbhvn_DC2)
i'd just retard the timing 1 to 3 degrees, and maybe look into a bigger fuel pump. thats what i did back when i spray'd my del sol.

Do exactly as the manufacturer of the kit recomends. Some kits need additional timing retard and some use overly rich jetting to prevent detonation. If you dont know and understand what you are doing, dont do it. Nitrous is quick and cheap hp when done properly but very unforgiving when used otherwise.

Re: (msbhvn_DC2)
wet or dry kit? Wet is obviously safer. Is there anyone around there with a wide band, even a dyno shop would do. One tunning session wouldn't hurt. Best bet would be something that would retard your timing when you are using the spray vs just an overal retard of the timing, hurting you when you aren't spraying. Theres lots of ways to play. Just depends on what you want to do. Fuel pump and an FPR would be safe plays in my book. If you are going wet, this might not be needed then.
