He doesnt own a car w/VTEC.. why should he care. If no ones done it by the time I got home I'll do it for you guys .. geez. Its getting really tiring that 2-3 people do the bulk of the work and ppl have the audacity to complain.</TD></TR></TABLE>

For one thing, I don't know how to script, or I would've been doing it already. Why should Blake care? Well.... nobody can really say he 'should' or not, me personally though if I was passing off a program for others to use, I'd like to make it as complete as possible, just me though. I'm sure if Blake wanted to he could make Uberdata a non-VTEC only application, so I guess he cares to some extent.

And lastly, I don't see anybody bitching or complaining. I brought it to the attention of the thread because I saw a problem and I wanted to ensure this was a fault in the program and not just an isolated incident to which others have confirmed, and if i'm not mistaken Blake has already noted the issue and i'm sure would take care of it. So really then..... what are you whining about?

Note:

I thought people were using 28c256's and i think i meant to buy 29c's but oh well. Here is why the 28c's don't work....

27c256 = 45ns Read time
28c256 = 150ns Read time
29c256 = ~70ns Read time

Apparently the MCU has its wait states settings set pretty quickly to somewhere below 100ns. I was worried about the 150ns 28c256's when i bought them but i don't know why i didn't just buy the 29c's (dumbass). Well now i have to go spend another $50 on shipping and parts, oh well.

Now that i've spent all day troubleshooting this and getting nowhere on tuning, i think i'll go out to the bars

28c's also have different pin outs than 27/29c's, u will have to make an adapter board to use them.

And for some reason, 94goldjun switched our names around in that chat log, that perv

I'll try and give them a shot this weekend. I need to copy over the p28 tables into the p72 first cause i'm using a p28 ECU.
Once I get that done I'll give FTL a shot.

I just got done adding thr p28 portion of the import script for blake, so dont put too much effort into migrating those!! I'm sure he'll release the next ver of uberdata soon which will easily import for you.

Let me know on that FTL :D

thanks bro. also, just to let everyone know, i emailed gimpy my version of ftl/fts. i have tested it and everything works now. just make sure you don't have any other version of ftl in your uberdata folder.

btw, it does not use a asm file this time since i couldn't get the compiler to work right. so i just hand compiled it in there with a bunch of writebytes. feel free to make an asm file and make it a little cleaner, but it works nonetheless.

IMPORTANT: ignore the comments at the top of the file as they contradict the README. read the readme!!!

okay, sorry for postwhoring but i have discovered a MAJOR bug.. i think. Until blake can verify this is a bug and fix it, ... i would be wary of 1.63!

bug: after importing my p28 maps, i then applied boost and got the following:

... that would cause one hell of a lean condition under boost. I then closed uberdata, reopened and applied boost to a non-imported normal GSR rom.. and it was correct. timing was fine.. forwhatever reason it choked on fuel

can anyone else verify this?

i can verify that the load map is kinda jacked. but i found another thing...

i opened a gsr bin, then loaded p30 maps, then reloaded the gsr maps and they were all jacked up.

ndogg that ftl .txt file only gives you a ftl cut and resume option which I believe is rpm related but it doesn't give u a speed at which to stop the fuel cut. ??hmm...
