need suggestions on how much boost to run and how to run it
I have an ls motor with about 40k on it, running a drag kit. I wanted to know if 10psi was ok to run on this motor currently I am tuned running 8.5. My next question is I have a profec B spec II and hear it has a lot of problems with temperature and its difficutly in setting up so should I just buy a 10psi spring for my waste gate and run that with no boost controller or should I get a manual boost controller and run a 7psi spring and use the mbc to up my boost? Some suggestions please.
Thanks in advance

What size injectors do you have, what are the specs on the turbo, and how is the car tuned? I'm guessing you would be fine at 10psi. As far as boost controllers go, I say forget them and just buy a couple springs to run the different boost settings you want. It might take a little more effort to change a spring, but the reliability is worth it IMO.

10 psi is fine on LS as long as you have the injectors and tune to back it up. I beat the hell out of my stock 110k mile LS turbo all day with RC 550's tuned on Hondata S300.

I am running a t3/t4 .57 trim i believe and .48 hotside not sure though wish i knew how to check. its a turbonetics and was supposedly part of the drag kit. Anyways I have 440s and I used crome to tune it. car runs strong on 8.6 so im assuming the tune is good. Hope this helps.......lets keep the suggestions cominggg
