hey i am trying to find what compression ratio i should run on my set up. I have looked around and found alot of people with different ratios but non have same set up as me here is what i have
D16y8 at the shop right now getting new rings bearings block getting re honed the crank getting sent off to get re balanced arp head studs all new gaskets i was burning oil off cylender two the car came to me with bad tune and guy totaled out the rings so i am not wanting to get this to happen again
i have emusa 50 trim the ram horn manifold 450 blue top injecters have emusa front mount intercooler i am running on p72 obd1 its runing at 8 psi now and i dont want to go more than that.
I had a street tuner from my town come and get a better tune on the car befor i had all this work done to it on full boost its reading about 12 on wide band all the guys around here say 12 is good but i have been reading and it seems that i should be running somewere around 9.5-10.5 there is not a dyno tuner anywere around here for like 500miles so street tune is all i can get right now they do good job but i am not wanting anything to happen to my car i am putting $1400 in bottom end and dont want to be doing it agian so what should i safely be running this set up at?
Plz help me out i will be getting dyno tune as soon as i can but am dumping a ton of cash to get the motor running right agian thanks alot

12.0:1 is just about right. 9-10.5 is WAY too rich man

 

thanks i will stay with 12.1 while in full boost what should it be at idle 13.1-14.1?
