Need Opinions on new setup----stock internal GSR
Right now i have a 275whp stock internal GSR. I want to see how far i can push this before i have to build. That being said, this is my ONLY car for the moment, but i will be getting another one. I still need my GSR to be reliable enough to daily drive. I have a few questions and need a few opinions on my next setup....
My setup so far:
Topmount mani, 3" dp, and dump
2.5" charge piping
Tial BOV and Tial 38mm WG
RC550 injectors
Tuned on Crome on 91-92octane
Precision 350hp IC (thinking about getting the 600hp but worried about excessive pressure drop)
My Questions:
1. What turbo should i use on my setup?? I have been tossing around the idea of a Precision SC6169 .63ar with the ported S compressor housing. I'm still undecided and would like to hear some other ideas. Hopefully looking to spend less than $850 on the new turbo.
2. What kind of power can i safely make on this setup?? I was thinking of getting tuned for around 350-360whp and running around 310whp daily. I dont want to needlessly stress anything because i need this setup to last at least most of next season. After that, i'm doing internal work. With the SC61, i was thinking of tuning on 14-16psi and then running 12 or so daily.

550cc will get you up to about 395whp, and then that is about it.
As for your turbo selection, before going for a larger application for a stock motor, check out options to find out what turbo finds a bit best for your needs, not just peak output.

What would you recomend provided that i'm planing to build the engine for the '08 season...... I need something that is goign to produce about 450-500 whp.
For this setup what do you personally recomend....hopefull less than 900$$$.
