need help to run low 13's
Learning to drive is key. I just took my del sol at 7psi and ran a 14.3@101. I suck! To put in perspective how bad I did I went 14.2@95 in my 88 mr2. It's very frustrating when the problem is you and not your car.
You guys make good points on both sides of the argument. I have a few points to make:
If you can tune Hondata or AEM, you can tune uberdata. Hands down. No questions asked.
Will hardcore Hondata tuners tune uberdata? No, generally not, because they get money for selling their Hondata units. It's bad business practice. Over time more tuners will realize that they can just charge a bit more to tune uberdata to make up for the $ difference. As this happens, the stubborn hondata-only tuners will have to change their ways to keep up with the market. Eventually uberdata will become a mainstream option.
Hondata IS TO Uberdata AS Windows IS TO linux/fbsd. Yeah, Hondata has been proven to make power, and you can call them for support... but Uberdata has the input of not just 2 guys, but of an unlimited number of people that write scripts for uberdata. There are scripts in development for water/propane injection. There's a script to make your CEL into a shift light while still retaining its stock function. Seriously, hondata has been proven, but uberdata is up and coming...

As far as the comment about Blake being a kid in montana, that's just asenine. You realize that Hondata started with two guys and a little bit of knowledge... right?

I was being joking about a kid in Montanna, however the guys who started Hondata, had a hell of a lot more knowlegde that the creator of Gooberdata. I also dont see the creators of Hondata banned on this board either!

LOL, I've obviously made my point since your last post is just a stab in the dark. If only ones status on Honda-Tech had some correlation to fuel management.
It's understandable that people with hondata get hostile, I would too if I'd spent $500 that didn't need to be spent.
You keep your Hondata, I'll keep my uberdata, and the world will continue to be a happy place.

No you really didnt make your point. I was trying to avoid to ***** this post up by debating Gooberdata and Hondata.
No one is getting hostile dude, Gooberdata people tend to get upset when you offer ANYTHING except it. If you really want to "tune" something go to the Autronics website, and download the free editor they have and then find a car and let me know how long it takes you to get a car to idle
Just because i sell and use Hondata doesnt mean that is the only system out there i can tune/use.

I would not say that. Hondata and Zdyne are two guys who started just like the pgmfi project and decided to go commercial. I have read posts wrote by Doug and all other fellows who helped him achieve his goal, back from 1998, and suprisingly, they had face the sames problems we faced/faces, they went trought the same way of cracking out the honda ECU.
On another hand, Hondata and Uberdata can achieve the same results. Differently, but the same. An engine is an engine, there are not so many ways to tune a 4 bangers.
Peace !

It will be easier to make power with th 3".

I really don't want to ***** up this thread either, but I just need to make one point clear: Someone suggested Uberdata over Hondata, and you were the one that got upset.
I'm not sure why you're pointing me to autronics, I never said I was a tuner or that uberdata was superior to hondata. Infact I said "hondata has been proven". I'm not trying to get hostile or dissuade you from using hondata, but I will say this: Uberdata pricing is superior to Hondata pricing.
Hondata is definatley the way to go if you're not a DIY sort of person, but some of us want more from life...

Uberdata is free engine management software. It requires the chipping of your ecu. The software can be found here: http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata/
whether or not it is better than Hondata is just a matter of personal opinion, but the major advantage is cost uberdata = $0, hondata = $>0
AEM EMS very good as well, but there again =$>0
