Default Need help, installing kit, oil feed problems

Im installing a kit for a friend. Im using Fast Turbo oil feeds and T3/T4 turbo. The fitting that comes with the Fast turbo kit is thread brass fitting. The instructions say to screw the brass fitting into the turbo oil inlet. Problem is the oil feed is not threaded. What can I do? I guess I could thread the turbo but I wouldnt think I would have to do this.

TIA

Not only does the oil not have a tap, the peice they have to put in the block for the oil feed does not fit in the hole. Im really getting angry with this ****. I dont think the oil return is going to work either.

I'm confused. The turbo you have does not have any threads? What does it look like then. You sure you've got the inlet and not the out let?

What fitting do you have for the block? Probably need a bspt to npt adapter, 1/8th inch, and then should be able to screw the line into it. I don't know, need more info, pictures are great

The L shaped peice I drew is this part:

That is suppose to screw into the inlet on the turbo but the inlet is not tapped. Its just a straight through hole.

It looks like I need this part that Full Race offers (middle hole threaded)

My pic:

Problem is that its not my car and I wanted to get it done by this weekend. IM not very happy with the fast turbo parts right now. On my civic I had problem with the oil return lines and now IM having problems with the feed and return on this kit. (The peice that is suppose to go into the block, its threads are jacked up and wont go in).

I need to find a way to get this done by the weekend. Otherwise I dont know what to do.

That's weird that there are no threads on the oil inlet. what kind of turbo is it?

You're going to need a 1/8 npt tap. It's like $12 at the auto parts stores. Tap it upside down so no metal shavings get down into the turbo.
It's very common for the block to have old sealer on the threads for the oil pressure sensor. That could be the reason the block fitting doesn't seem to want to go in.

Yeah not only that but the moron who put his motor in used RTV on EVERYTHING including the oil send unit. Not just a little, like bottles.

Thanks for the help. Im going to leave it up to him wether he wants me to tap it, or wants to order the flange.

Some turbos need an inlet flange as well as the return flange

they are like 5-20bucks depending on who you get it from
