need help identifying Garrett turbo ball bearing?
Hey guys I just recently bought a used Garrett turbocharger and I needed help identifying if its a ball bearing or not , on the cast it says ar 70 ec-1 m24, its water-cooled and oil cooled any tech help would be much appreciated thank you

No because the older t series units were journal bearing and were available with both oil and water cooling. GT35R doesn't really mean anything until we see photos of the CHRA, wheels, etc.

Plenty of Garrett Journal bearing units still use water lines. The difference is whether or not its required to use them. Even though they are optional on the journal bearing units, its best to use them to put less stress on the oil lubrication properties.

Yup. If it has water ports I use them regardless.
