Default Question for Ball Bearing turbo users

How many of you are running water into it as an addition to oil.
whats the purpose and how important is it?
How are you routing the water in...please show some pics if possible...

i'm running a GT40r...for info.

Ball bearing turbos are not designed for very much oil flow because they just need a little oil to lubricate the bearings, vice a lot of oil to float the bearings like in a journal bearing turbo. If you want the seals to last, then you usually put a pinhole restrictor in the oil feed, so there's not much oil going through there to cool it. It's usually okay with no water flow until you shut it off, and then the oil in the center section burns, gumming up the bearings. You really want the water to keep the center section cool and make your ball bearings work right and last a long time. Here's a graph of the thermal delta:
