Need help with building block for some boost
I am looking to build my engine for boost and am looking for some advice. Right now engine is out of the car.
Engine: Stock B16a
Turbo: Full Race Stage 1
Goals: 300whp daily driver, then in about a year when it gets taken off the road about 400-450whp.
Not looking to sleeve the block.
What parts am I going to need?
How does Eagle rods, Wiseco Pistons, ARP head, main, and rod bolts, ACL Bearings and a new headgasket sound?
Would I need anything else or is any of that unnecesary?
Could this handle 400+whp?
As far as work in the head. I dont plan to rev past 8k or 8.5k the most. Would i need anything as preventative maintenance? Valve springs and retainers? Anything else? I dont plan on head workor valve work.
After I get this figured out it comes down to what size pistons?
What compression ratio?
What thickness headgasket?
Thanks

that will be fine, but you need to factor in HONDA oem gaskets for all parts, honda timing belt, and cometic headgasket.
Bearings should only be honda. the crank will sue the exact same ones you took out becuase your not sleeving or modifying, but the rods will start off with green and you will have to plastiguage them from there.
contact http://www.theoldone.com who is endyn for more information on head work and valves and to purchase your cometic gaskets and other parts, they carry them ins stock.
good luck
