Default Need help asap

alright so today i was driving my car and all of a sudden it starts bucking hard and wont accellerate. I make it to my school and then when i went to leave iit wouldnt really rev. sounded like it was missing. pop the hood see nothing wrong. finally i open the ecu and find this:





Q31 is what burnt

also i went back later that night and
my friend tried my ecu and it still worked when he put his chip in. maybe my chip is toast? wtf is going on here.

i cant believe he put his chip in that thing.. did you try a different ECU?

That looks like the IAC Voltage regulator. I have quite a few ECUs with that Voltage Reg popped and they work with no problems.

ok well my ecu works fine in my buddys car so its still ok. but:
ok so I pulled the plugs and they are covered in fuel. car has new plug wires, cap and rotor. Put new sparkplugs in and it reved a little better but still was breaking up. Tried my friends chip and it reved smoother and I was able to sort of drive it but it was all bog but was able to boost but then got worse again so i limped it home. any ideas?

im with stdefhatch, id check the dizzy. try swapping your buddies into your car. or if hes not down, make sure your coil and all that jazz are good. lets us know!

I dont know crap about honda ECU's but the letter Q on circuit boards is used traditionally to denote transistors

any chance you could read the writing on the component on the board? OR is it burnt out
