for any good answers..more info is gonna be needed.

1. do you want to make that on pump or race gas?
2. by "built" do you mean sleeves? if so, is it bored?
3. are you looking for a whole new kit? or just new turbo/manifold?
4. what boost do you want to make the power at? (which will reflect if you want it on pump or race)
5. do you want to keep a/c, p/s? if you still have them?

This Power would be made on 100 octane Fuel
This motor is not sleeved but has a block guard
JE pistons 9:5:1 / Cower Billet rods
Just a Turbo and a Manifold (Love Fab sst) External Waste gate
25-29 psi
Ac is out already and so as the PS

damn, 25-29psi on stock sleeves...you either got some big ***** or an awsome tuner..
i would look into an sc61 in your situation, it will make what power you are looking for at a much safer level..it should do around 420 at around 20psi, and upper 400's at 25

and you should definitely up the octane if you are gonna do this, 100 isnt gonna cut it

This meamber said that you can run the 20 psi range on stock sleves as long as the tuner is good.

Re: can b18c1 or b18b stock sleeves handle 330whp or so? (reignofchaos) 3:41 PM 11/10/2003

hm... which block is stronger or better?? i assume b18c with the piston coolers etc..
can the b18c1 take 15-17psi daily and handle say 330whp or so with stock sleeves??? i assume i will need new piston's rods and the studs head gasket etc etc but how about sleeves??? i plan to use aem ems or somethign similar

you can run 300 to the wheels if tuned right with ease on a stock b18c1 block. you can run 550+ to the wheels and make it last for more than a year of hard street/track time on a b18c1 with stock sleeves, forged pistons and forged rods. the b18c1 and b18c5 blocks are the strongest as far as running them stock. its all in the fuel delivery and tuning.

im familiar with his car, but i wouldnt base the reliability of a high 400whp stock sleeve honda on one car...theres been tons more that have blown their motors on less power.

i do agree with that its all in the tuning but theres tons of variables within that.

my friends car with i helped build made 380whp on stock sleeve at 18psi, it could have gone over 400 but had a leak and some other limiting factors. so i know personally that stock sleeves are capable of good power with a good tuner.

and ill tell you another thing, if your gonna do it, get some c16, sunoco 118, or some kind of good high octane gas when you are running higher boost

thanks for your replys it has helped me alot
another question is how well does the GT2835R compare to a SC 61 and if i do decide on the SC 61, what is the maxium psi output
i will probley get a AEBS T-Sleeve Engine Work done to my block but will not bore just keep the 1.8 L
NOT ON A DYNO JET but on a dyno dynamics dynamometer (Vishnu Performance)
as of now on the dyno with a 15 psi run i registered 246.6 hp(pump gas) at the wheels which is of a boost leak which drops my boost to 10.5psi occuring at 5500 RPM so i only get 15 psi at the bottom end not top end. also we could not advance the timming on pump gas as much as we could of done on 100 to 116 octane fuel.
so for my next run i wanted to setup something more that will face my target HP.
