Need advice on cam choice
I am building a ls vtec/turbo. Fully built sleeved block but I am undecided on cam choice. I was told to stay away from turbo specific cams because they tend to dissapoint on top end. So should I just go with some n/a stage 3? Can anyone with experience or good advice please help me make a decision? Thanks

Re: Need advice on cam choice
big cam small valve, small cam big valve... in other words if your doing a large na cam, stay wiuth a stock size vavle... if your gonna go turbo cam, or smaller cam you can go big valve... but my sugestion depending on the power goals, is to go with either skunk pro 1s, or BC stg 2s, both na of course... this is coming from successfull expereince with both, with large power gains over ITR/CTR cams...

What are your power goals and what is the use for the setup? Also, elaborate more on your setup. It will give us more to base the choice on...

Re: Need advice on cam choice
I like my web cams. My tuning appointment isn't until may 3, but I couldn't use the pro1's in my car because of clearance issues (o/s valves) With the pro1's I was at at -1 degrees clearance and with the web's I have 4 degrees clearance to play around with if I want to on the dyno. Now I will have no direct comparison to how these will rate against the pro1's, but I heard there are a few people out there with cams like these that have picked up good power over the pro1's.
