Default Need an "OK" on my timing before I start street tuning

Setup:
Stock b18a
450cc with t3/t4 57trim
spearco fmic
Turboedit
At 7400 RPM and 11 psi, the timing shows 22.94, basetiming is at 16.20. Does that sound reasonable? and is that what they would call "total timing" ?

Default Re: Need an "OK" on my timing before I start street tuning (Krabbypro)

how did you come up with that number? In my opinion that's too advanced. Start out with .8 or .9 degrees per lb. Later on you can test higher settings and check your plugs, but a dyno is safer and easier to do this on. Work with step retard later as well it gives better spool and more power while boosting to your set level. Mine is 21 degrees at 10lbs and I really think on the dyno I won't gain too much if I advance it anymore. Post up your bin or PM me and I can post it/look at it
