Tuning Timing...
So when tuning the timing and you are increasing in small increments... Do you guys richen the fuel and increase the timing together BEFORE a dyno pull... Or do just increase the timing and need to see the difference that makes on its own. And then richen if it went lean and made more power. Just wondering.
timing shouldnt affect fuel mixture very much unless its waaay off.
Typically you start with some known safe timing values to begin you fuel tuning, then start adding in timing on the dyno, and lastly, go touch up areas that needs + or - small amounts of fuel.

As gunmetal said make sure your timing values are very safe, then get on a dyno and do ignition timing, you can adjust without having to make a pull every time if your using an Eddie current dyno just increase in small amounts, then go back and make sure the fuel map is good
I was always under the impression that if the increased timing resulted in more power/torque... the AFR would go leaner?
Also, when applying timing across the board in the boost map... Its the torque curve that Im using as my guage correct? To know where to keep adding and/or pull.
