I am purchasing a 38mm flange and reflanging this particular turbo manifold, from what I've been told it's a sfp equal-length manifold but for some reason I don't think it is, quality is really good, ported the primaries polished and what not, 1.5" OD, has a descent wall thickness and I'm pretty sure it's not ssautocrap.



tell me what it is because I want to know !!

its an ssac/obx manifold

 

are you sure about that?, I was looking at the collector that ssautochrome fabs and the one that I have now, they're different, this one was cut using 4 1.5 OD tubing using a jig and had very nice welds in it, the ssautochrome one looks be formed and what not.

ssac , i have exactly the same one I got it a year ago i .. welded some brackets and I been runing with it ever since , no problem here

 

thats not a ssac....ssac doesn't use a merge collector. Looks like spark racing.

 

look at the little "groove" on the head flange, that should give it away. Which manifold has that?

I dont think that manifold is ssac. I agree with Jesse. Its a spark racing.

 

if it is truly a spark racing manifold are they any good?, anybody ever had problems with them?

 

I havent heard anything bad about them like you hear about ssac.

 

looks like the kiwi manifold i used to have

it used an hks wastegate flange.
i sold it cause i didnt like how it positioned the wastegate...i know i could have made an elbow or something but...i didnt

 

Looks like the Meng/Spark Taiwan-made eq manifold.

 

i have a spark racing manifold......it looks almost the same as that. works really well and so far its been holding up.

mine has some extra support "braces" on the head flange and a couple on the collector flange. also mine has a 38mm wastegate flange.....and mine is A/C compatable........its a good manifold......nothing like SSAC.
