Default My Stock DOHC ZC On 15lbs

This was done on 93 octane pump gas with a stock motor. My tuner and I were talking one night and figured that the compression on the zc is lower then the b16 and Gsr motors so we figured we could tune the motor to 15lbs with a real solid tune. We ended up upping the boost from 10lbs were I made 238whp and 181wtq to 15lbs where I made 278whp and 230wtq. These number are from a dynojet machine. By looking at the graph the power improved everywhere. By 6k I had made a 60whp gain!! Once again I would like to say tuning is key! O yea im running a Td06 17c turbo. My A/F is 11.8-11.5 through out the band.Setup was tuned on Crome pro by Huy Tran of Inline Racing here in Houston, Texas.

First off congradulations! I have a dohc zc obd0 converted to obd1! Bone stock, tubular manifold, 50 trim t04e, 38mm tial and 3inch downpipe and exhaust. I was going to leave it on 10lbs on wg spring. But I wanted to turn it up to 14lbs. What did you do for Dohc Zc big blowby problem? Tuned on Crome.

Awesome numbers on a stock block
Can you post pics of your setup, I have a very similar setup, I'm currently finishing my tune with a R500 logger and I'm just curious about your engine bay.

Its been my experience that open DP's are much quieter than Stock NA exhausts exiting right after the cat - both B and D series. The main diffference is that na from the cat sounds like a fart machine, turbo from a open dp has a crazy turbo spool sound.
