Default My new civic turbo need help

I just installed a t3 turbo on my d16y7 minime. I get like no boost till 6700 in first and 6000 in second, and its like nothing. The max I was able to put out was .48 kg or boost according to the afc. It does have a frontmount. I dont see a leaks, except for the downpipe. It a big leak. Im using chrysler 2.2l t3. Would that cause it.

is the wastegate closed? Make sure all your couplers are tight on your intercooler piping, and your blow off valve isn't leaking.

Ill look at it, anyother ideas. The downpipe leaking would have anything to do with it. I know the turbo runs off heat and exhaust.

wheres it leaking at? As long as its after the turbo and wastegate, then your fine.

same engine as you last year, .48/.60 i know it has to do with trim too. Nonetheless, i could build 15 psi, by 4k no probs at all.... so yes you have a leak, either in the charge pipes, or with your wastegate.

My vote is boost leak. And it's sizable.

Oh.. One more thing.. If you have a Tial WG... Do you have your fire ring installed? When I first installed my turbo, I forgot it... And wasn't able to make any significant boost.
