boost problems like a ****!
I rebuilt the turbo, t3/t4 .50 trim, and still seam to not boost past 5lbs. I was boosting 10 lbs before that. No smoke coming from exhaust. Car still seams strong cause it took down a Cobra still the other night.
Anyways. can anyone throw out any ideas what the problem may be. When my turbo was blown I changed the wastegate and it didn't do anyhting other than boost the same but I had a blown turbo.
other than it could be the wastegate. does anyone know of anything else to check, also besides the piping to the intercooler.
This is an LS turbo Drag 3 set-up.

What kind of boost gauge do you have?...could it have broken? ive replaced two since being turbo... autometer boost gauges....good for about a year or so.\
Other than that its probably the wastegate or IC piping. Check to see if the wastegate is closed while engine is running at idle. My HKS wastegate (God rest its soul) broke and was stuck open or partially open even at idle.

Take the wg off, and take it apart, inspect it, if nothing is amiss put it back to gether and slap it back on..
Before I sold my delta I took it apart, it was used before I bought it and everything inside was in perfect condition except the spring... it was a grey 7-9psi spring but at best was boosting 4-5psi cause it was soooo old, no matter how far the adjusting screw was turned in, the spring was just to maluable and old...
Solution, sold it for a 35mm tial :D

Even the slightest leak in the intercooler piping can limit the boost. Check all the rubber reducers and hoses not just to see if its tight, but check also for holes and or cracks. If its not that, you can see if the WG stuck open partially by using a bicycle pump or any other type of pump that has a gauge.
