my build: turbo for the 3rd time on my eg coupe
well this car has had a bunch of different motors now current setup is
gsr block 9:1 cp pistons eagle rods
stock sleeves
b16 head with welded chambers
fully port and polished head from dh-racing (i didn't buy it from him my roommate did so i got to use it)i know he's not so loved on here
super tech valve train and over sized valves
blox type b cams
68mm tb
car made decent power all motor 190 so it wasn't bad in all motor form
here is the car
here is the exhaust became annoying after a while but the vtec crossover with it was worth the noise
so finally time to get started as you can see their are a few projects (the dog leg technique for jacking up a car here)
putting it up for fitment, with my full race ram horn. its got the old school 4 bolt wastegate, had this thing for a long time
putting up the intercooler for fitment, the original charge pipe's got thrown out in a tragic mistake. We had the choice of 2 in or 3 in so i went with 3in.
it was getting late and i was getting hungry, so i decided to wait till tomorrow to weld. So the list for tomorrow is the oil pan bung, charge pipes, and intercooler support . Well and what ever snags pop up along the way, will hopefully be posting up the finished product tomorrow. And the rest of the specs on the build.

Re: my build: turbo for the 3rd time on my eg coupe
yuck well i am stuck waiting for parts now didn't have any straight 3 in couplers, one of the down sides about living out here, so it will be about 3 days.
so i decided to pull the compressor houseing off and paint it, ill post up pictures of the ghetto dump tube fab i had to do.
frustrating day in all and to top it off the mig welder took a ****, and i only was going to use it to weld the oil pan. Guess ill use the tig for everything now

Re: my build: turbo for the 3rd time on my eg coupe
well since i couldn't do much but wait for things to come in i decided to paint some things
don't laugh at my ghetto dump tube, i had to make some weird bends since the turbo is bigger. I used what we had and decided since it was already ugly to have some fun with it.
a picture from yesterday after a not so productive frustrating day
thinking about gutting the car lol those parts better show up fast
