What head gasket are you using? Is the block and head both a machine finish? We need a bit more info...

It is fine on a Honda motor but there is no replacement for perfectly straight mating surfaceS (yes plural, head and block). I copper spray all my head gaskets both N/A and F/I and have never had a failure.

Copper spray won't hurt, but is a pain to clean off for a rebuild. Honda MLS gaskets use something similar to hylomar (the black stuff), and has proven to be amazing at keeping a good seal.

There are plenty of people pushing well over 600 HP on OEM Honda Head Gaskets with out problems. I have used Cometic with out problems as well. Almost any head gasket will work and give good seal if both mating surfaces are parallel.

Yup. I got both my deck and head machined so that when I am running boost I have no problems with headgaskets for a while at least
