my b18c unstable idle issue
Hey guys, long time lurker, first time caller here. So I have an idle issue that 3 myself and three diff machanics can't figure out. The 95 civic with a built b18c running a precicion 6262 in question has a bouncing idle after warmed up. or a high idle or once in awhile a normal idle lol. iv sprayed everything down with carb cleaner and it doesnt seem to be a vac leak. tested the tps and got proper voltage. replaced the idle air contorl valve, then had my tuner shut it off all together. So,where do I go from here? thanks for any input or advise in advance.

Re: my b18c unstable idle issue
I figured since the car is boosted it should go here, but I'm not really a forum posting expert. None the less i figured it out, god bless youtubes "Eric the car guy." Turns out it was the fast idle valve. Just made a block off plate to get rid of it. thanks for the help gents.

Lol must have real bad mechanics if they didn't check the fitv or iac first, that's why I didn't even mention it. And because the car is boosted doesn't mean idle questions are FI. I don't really care tho. Nice when it idles low n smooth eh?

Re: my b18c unstable idle issue
it sounds like the typical obd1 ecu conversion issue, the obd1 ecu doesnt like the obd2 IACV and the idle bounces all over the place.
simply unplug the IACV and the idle should level off or the car will shut down.
I dont like to use the IACV, I just set my idle using the stop screw on the TB
