MSD Two step?
I did a search but just found people asking what it does and if it will work with out using an MSD box. I have not installed mine yet but I thought you just have to plug the one end into the msd and then wire it up to the clutch switch. When I was talking to my friend this weekend he said if you wire it to the clutch everytime you put the clutch in to shift it will bounce off that lower rev limiter. Is this true? I see sixtydashone has his rigged to a horn button. Where is the best place to tap that wire? TIA

Re: MSD Two step? (underpressure02)
ok so you have a way to engage it...
but how does the 2step know what rpm your at, with out the msd how is it going to get the rpm signal....
plus im not sure that the 2step module is going to give you the desired affect, the MSD ignition itself is whats going to make the revlimiter work, meaning its going to be the electronics that will cut spark to cause the revlimit...
i dont think the 2 step has all that built into it...
also i have my 2step wired into my clutch switch, it works great...
but i dont have to clutch in start anymore because i use the switch for the 2step...
you just plug power to one side and the msd signal on the other side of the switch and it works
