Default MSD 3 step hookup

i got the msd soft touch 3 step rev control. its bad *** cause i can get my launch rpm exact every time and its sounds kool as **** sitting at the line holding it. but anyways....i tried to wire it where when the clutch is in it would make it active. I have to tap it in to a wire that supplies 12v when clutch is pressed in so i tried hooking it at the clutch start switch that is activated when clutch is pushed in....didnt work so i was forced to wire it on a switch for temporary(which sucks). anyone know where this wire is i need for 12v when clutch pushed in. under hood anywhere?

Other than installing it, How does it work? Will it get 60fts lower?

creates a rev limiter that you pre determine...so when your at the line, you can hold the clutch in...floor it...and it rev limits at say 3000...so you can floor it off the line...its builds my boost up to about 2lbs....which is awesome off the line...could really improve my 60footer...but i have it on a hand switch right now...not the clutch pedal which i dont like at all.

You need a MSD 6AL..

An MSD 6A will NOT accept a 2/3 Step Module
