Default msd boost retard (HELP)

Just installed an msd boost retard unit on my 2000 civic si turbo. At WOT the car runs fine until 5k then it bogs really bad. After a few times hitting boost it bogs really bad and does not accelerate at all. I then pulled over and unplugged the battery i stayed out of boost it was fine until i got home. I could use any suggestions. Thanks

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by rlwturbosi &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">bosch platinum 2s, .</TD></TR></TABLE>

change those to ngk bkre7e-11 or 3330 and start out at .033 gap and see how that works

make sure your msd piece does not have jumpers you have to cut for 4,6,8 cylinder. if it does make sure they are cut correctly. if not call msd.

I had a similar problem, except mine would stutter at anything above 7K with anything more than .5 degree retard per 1 Psig boost. I ended up having to just keep the dial at zero. Then I went Hondata and the rest is history.
