Default more ignition gremlins

last week i was having problems with not being able to rev past 5k and solved it by changing the whole distributor assy. now running a new dizzy we went out to tune the car last night starting at 5psi the car ran fine. so we boosted 7psi and when i hit around 6000rpm the car started to loose power. it sounded like it was loosing ignition. i pulled out the dizzzy from a friends car who was known to be running well so could it be just the plugs and wires?

Im still stuck at work today and il probably change the wires and plugs but if you guys can help out it would really be appreciated

btw was running a plx wide band last night so a/r is in check

set up

aem ems 30-1000
450 cc injectors
bosch in line pump
ngk bkr6 plugs
custom t3/t4 set up on 7psi

Are you sure the 450cc injectors are good to go? I once had a car that seemed like it was having serious ignition issues and it turned out to be the injectors...

smaller plug gap, check and relace ignition wires if needed.

Sounds like the problem I was having two weeks ago and my fix was closing the plug gap up. It was fine until I hit about 5500 to 5800 or so and then started falling off and breaking up a bit. Closed the gap up to .024 and she pulls like a champ again. Car was good with the .028 at 6 psi but when I went up to 10, it started dying out.

get some 7 heat range plug and gap them at .028 and see how that does.
