Default lagging problem with acceleration

sometimes when i accelerate, usually in first gear, my car lags on pickup really bad. i was told it was my fuel injectors, but after replacing them all and checking them from time to time, they seem fine, im guessing its my clutch but not sure, or maybe there is another way to check injectors that im not sure about. Any suggestions?

your clutch would probably need to slip in order for it to be the cause, my guess is its fuel/spark related...try a tune up (cap/rotor/plugs/wires) also, when is the last time you changed the timing belt?

yeah, seems like a coil problem. if you already replaced the spark plugs, wires etc.. then my only guess would be the coil.

I'm pretty sure its not misfiring, but we'll probably do the coil system anyway.

Check the fuel pressure. Might need a new filter or the whole pump too.
