missing link vs electronic map limiter
ok, here's a dumb one.
would you guys recommend a missing link, or an electronic map limiter to prevent the ECU from seeing boost? i have read the spiel at the missing link site about why it's so much better to use a mechanical valve, basically because a) you won't ever expose the stock map sensor to boost (big deal, it costs $40), and b) the atmospheric signal output by the sensor will vary with the actual atmospheric pressure.
i'm not sure that b) is really a good thing for me, given that i'll be using the PMS in relative correction mode (rather than the full standalone mode), which means it might be more consistent to have the fueling based on stock injector pulse width at x.xxv (2.8v, whatever) plus or minus the amounts specified in the boost tables.
