open or closed loop
i understand that with a closed loop exhaust its much quiter than open loop. i know that the power lost in low boost is about 10-15hp but how much power is lost at 25-27 psi. or is it just better to use a lawnmower muffler on the dupetube.

Re: open or closed loop (HXMan)
Yeah if its a track car (which I doubt) then who cares about the sound. The only sound that should matter is you screaming when you get your fast *** time slip hehe. If you actually plan to run that much boost...which is pretty insane then just keep it open look. But properly closed look systems don't loose that much power over open loops systems and they are quiet w/o that rasping wastegate dumping sound.

its going to be for both the track and the street when i am just crusing i will keep it at 15psi now when run then i will crank it up to 27psi. its insane boost but you never know what the other person might have better safe than sorry.
