Default MF2 Wiring, some wires were not used!?

In the first picture shows the two wires that are split (Red & Yellow) and one with a connector at the end of it which is (black & white). I bought this kit off a same year accord, and somehow he used it like this, how would I go about using this wiring setup? The orange/blue, red/brown wires does not seem to be used?

The second picture is the entire wiring, for the unit. Now that little black box on the top left, has some type of inlet tube, do i connect a vacuum source to it, from the intake manifold?

Thanks

Okay I found the orange wire, he spliced it into the orange wire coming out from the little black box in the second picture. So, would I just connect a vacuum source from the intake manifold to that black box?
